Certificate of Recognition for Jazmine Flores
The Australian Council of Multicultural Entrepreneurs (ACME) and friends gathered at the Waterfront on the Pier Restaurant in Port Melbourne for the annual Awards Night and Christmas Party.
The event was graced with the presence of Consul General Maria Lourdes Salcedo who delivered an inspiring speech to business leaders in the community, encouraging mentorship initiatives for young and aspiring entrepreneurs.
ACME President, Sam Afra spoke about the mission of ACME while promoting the benefits of becoming a member of this close-knit network.
Certificates of Recognition were presented to several individuals that have contributed to the organisation over the past 9 years, since it began in 2012.
Jazmine Flores was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year, while Lita Mahle was awarded Runner Up. This year, ACME decided to present two awards as there was no award presented in 2020 due to COVID-19.
After the awards, over 60 business leaders and entrepreneurs and friends joined for dinner at the Waterfront on the Pier Restaurant.
We are kicking back and getting festive despite the ongoing challenges and economic setbacks. This came by surprise and blossomed a realization that there is “no shortage of possibilities”.
